AMBASSADORS OF LOVE DIVINE
Matthew 25:34-46
A hungry old tramp came in rags to my door,
So starving and faint as he sank to the floor,
The flesh may recoil from the filth of his state,
But what would Christ do had he come to His gate?
An old, thirsty beggar approached with dry lips
So parched she could no longer ask for a sip
Of something to drink, for some cold water, clear –
A word of true love – how her heart yearned to hear.
A stranger roamed helplessly in a foreign land
Without friends or money, no safe place to stand,
So tired and hungry at my door he stood
And I must resolve to respond as Christ would.
And then in the dead of the night a voice cried,
“Oh, please let me in, for my family has died!”
Her house had been burned and so naked she fled
In hopes to find shelter, some clothes and a bed.
The sick and the dying lay writhing in pain
On hospital beds or alone in the rain:
For many have not even one soul to care –
No one to walk with them, the suff’ring to share.
Within a dark jail cell, so crouched in despair
A prisoner languishes all alone there,
The Father in heaven seeks one He can send
To bring hope to inmates as love’s hand they lend.
Each opportune moment let's reach out in love
To represent Jesus as sent from above,
For we are ambassadors of love divine –
The only light many may ever see shine.
“Come blessed of My Father! The kingdom is yours,
For you’ve fed and clothed Me and opened your doors,
To even the least of these that you’ve showed love,
You lived love to Me and are blessed from above!”

Dear Ken,
We are praying for you and your family. We want to especially lift up the home confinement situation to God. He is still on the throne and is able to do "exceedingly abundantly above what we ask or think." We enjoy the inspirational articles you publish from time to time! God bless you!

Dear Ken,
I sure don't talk to you much, do I? But I do talk to God about you daily. It has become a part of my daily prayers...
And one of the things I find my self asking God is to give boldness to witness. I am sure God has answered that prayer many times.
I also remember that the Apostle Paul wrote a lot while in jail. His letters were and are an important part of Scripture. I just wanted to tell you that your letters are also a great blessing. I often receive emails thanking me for posting your writings. I have received several today, commenting on your last post. That's what reminded me to write you.
Keep on witnessing and keep on writing and we'll keep on praying!
Love you, brother!

Dear Miller Family:
We have only recently learned of the trials that you are currently experiencing. We are blessed to hear that you are standing on a firm foundation. As Christians it is easier to give in to sin when times are easy and trials few. Take courage and know that God is allowing this to strengthen not only your faith but the faith of Christians all over the world. 1 Peter 4:16 "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed;but let him glorify God on this behalf."

Appreciated your updates. I had to smile at your spirit when reading of your "loud" declaration of God's design for marriage at the wedding reception you celebrated with friends at Petersburg Low. I am sure there were times when our Lord spoke clearly and distinctly and loudly when making a point He felt strongly about. Your many prayer warriors are holding you and your family up before the Father daily. We suffer vicariously with you and pray the days will pass swiftly and that your joy might be full. Only Heaven will fully reveal the benefits of your trial here and the many souls that will saved and strengthened because of it. You are the "real deal", and we are humbled by your testimony. We appreciate and agree with your Anabaptist background and beliefs. With you, we desire that our family members and fellow believers might take a strong stand against the moral decay of our nation, undeterred by the strong resistance of our culture to traditional Christian beliefs. Thanks for reminding us to pray for others on trial for their faith. Thanks for the additional reading you have suggested. " If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us" 2 Timothy 2:12
"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 5:6-11

We sang this song at our prayer meeting last night. (Wed. 3/23) It was an encouragement to me to keep pressing on, even when life is hard and discouraging. May God bless you and your family, Ken,as you continue being "an example of the believer".
Go Labor On
Go, labor on: spend, and be spent
Thy joy to do the Father’s will;
It is the way the Master went:
Should not the servant tread it still?
Go, labor on: ’tis not for naught
Thy earthly loss is heav’nly gain;
Men heed thee, love thee, praise thee not;
The Master praises: what are men?
Toil on, faint not, keep watch and pray;
Be wise the erring soul to win;
Go forth into the world’s highway,
Compel the wand’rer to come in.
Toil on, and in thy toil rejoice;
For work comes rest, for exile home;
Soon shalt thou hear the Bridegroom’s voice,
The midnight peal, “Behold, I come.”

Hi Pastor Ken,
Thanks for taking time to write about the celebration you enjoyed with your new friends over your son's wedding.
Ephesians 3 is my prayer for you today . . . That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.
Praying that Jesus will continue to be praised and proclaimed through your life there at Petersburg. We are also praying for your family today.

Dear Ken.
We pray for you daily Ken. It is part of my wife and I's daily devotions together in the morning.
We remember Timo also. May Gods continued presence be with you daily. From eternity past God knew all about this. He knew who you would be in prison with, and their need of the Gospel. You are in a mission field. May Satan be defeated in the lives of those around you,and the kingdom of God be enlarged. Only in eternity will we fully understand it all.
May God bless you with a good day. May your extended family be surrounded with God's love.
Sanford

In my mind, God is still writing Hebrews 11. The trials of our faith affecting our brothers and sisters in Jesus today are no less than those mentioned in Scripture. The testimony of the Faithful today is as inspiring as the testimony of the Faithful in the Bible. Not only does this testimony bring glory to our Creator, our attitude towards those exercised thereby is of great importance to our Father. May we internalize the benefits of the sufferings of the Saints. May our hearts bleed with them in their sore trials that we, together with them, might share in the sufferings of Christ. If we suffer with Him we will also be glorified with Him.

Brother Ken and all involved,
Know that you have the opportunity to greatly enhance the Kingdom of God as you humbly and boldly stand on the rock Jesus Christ.
Many people are praying for you. Our prayer is;
As you endure reproach for His sake your joy might be full.
Your faith will be steadfast in the midst of a confused world that stands in opposition to the commandments of our Creator.
Many souls will be touched and changed through your testimony.

Hi Pastor Ken,
Thank you for writing and for continuing to look to our Lord Jesus Christ for daily grace and peace. I thank God for how you are encouraging me through your writing.
I am praying that the words from Isaiah 11:2 about Jesus will be your experience as you prepare for testimony ahead.
"The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord."
I'm also praying 2 Timothy 1:7 for you, that the Holy Spirit will equip you in a special way with "power, love, and a sound mind."
We love you in Christ.

Ken is having a sabbatical:
Sabbatical or a sabbatical (from Latin: sabbaticus, from Greek: sabbatikos (σαββατικός), from Hebrew: shabbat (שבת) (i.e., Sabbath), literally a "ceasing") is a rest from work, or a break, often lasting from two months to a year. The concept of sabbatical has a source in shmita, described in several places in the Bible. For example, in Leviticus 25, there is a commandment to desist from working the fields during the seventh year. Strictly speaking, this means a sabbatical would last one year.

Joy...Joy...Joy...is what is filling my heart, Ken, as I read your posts here.
Praying with everyone else, as we watch the beauty of what God is doing in each one of us...and yes, even in this circumstance!
The blessing I got by reading here...the smiles...chuckles...and even tears...are overwhelming me, this morning.
Oh how special to envision my other Brothers in Christ there with you...I'm just overwhelmed again by God's 'working all things together for good'... Here, my dear Brother is a 'cyber hug' from over the air ways :)
Love and Prayers in Christ our Lord!

Dear Ken,
Our family has thought your way many times today.We are praying with commitment for you. Our hearts smile when we realize how very much you are here with this special day. Your love, care and direction for your daughter is evident and that is a gift that some daughters cannot experience when a physical presence is granted. The investment you have placed in caring for your family, loving your wife well offers a presence that physical absence cannot take away. What a gift! Thinking of you so much today. We care and love you. Earl and Angie

Dear Ken:Amy Carmichael, a missionary without leave for 40 years in India, came to the realization that every trial, sorrow, disappointment, and reverse in her life was actually an opportunity to die to self; instead of an obstacle, each one should be viewed as an opportunity to glorify God. That's a tough message, but I would commend you on having obviously grasped the principle in your circumstances and truly glorified God by your Christlike response. Thank you; God bless you.

We pray for you every day for Holy Sprit protection. Many don't realize it, but the only thing that the child of God is promised in the Bible is Persecution. We are in a wicked world that is not a friend to the true Christian. Thanks for setting a true example for us.

Brother Ken: Thank you so much for writing about your experiences on the inside! You are learning and growing so greatly from this event of imprisonment, that you will never be the same person afterward, had you not gone through this change in lifestyle. I know, it happened to me also, which may explain why I find great joy and some spiritual fellowship since being released from prison by living among the homeless people in American society. God will provide for you both in your present circumstance and in the future, cast your cares upon Him for His yoke is indeed easy and His burden light, compared to that of living in the sinful decadence of today's world! May the Lord continue to be blessed by your testimony as your eyes are opened to the true meaning of what a life of obedience to God's Word requires of us!

Becoming a prisoner of Christ Jesus [Philemon 1:1] is both an awesome responsibility and a blessing [2 Peter 2:20-23]. Praise God, His Word is not chained [2 Timothy 2:8,9]! The LORD promises that those who honour Him will be honoured [1 Samuel 2:30]. May God sustain our brother and his family by His grace. May God continue to hold Sister Lisa and her daughter under the His wings [Psalm 91:4].

As I observe your life and testimony, I can't help but think about the words of Jesus, who said, "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad! For GREAT is your reward in heaven! For so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

Ken and Family: My heart is with you. I came to Milmont today, but found myself breaking out in tears. I kept thinking, "Ken is in prison for doing the right thing!" I have always fled TO Milmont when the outside world seemed harsh. Today, it seemed that the world came to Milmont to take some of the goodness away. You are in my prayers daily and have been since this all started. I know that God can and will create something good out of every situation, so that is my prayer--that your time away from your family can be used to bring glory to the Lord. Your strength and unwavering faith has been a blessing to me.

Thank you for following God rather than man. Let us know where Ken serves and I for one will write. I have never been in prison, but was a chaplain for Indiana Dept of Corrections ( I am a General Baptist pastor). With good time Ken should be out before his sentence time is complete. Check federal regs to get the exact time. Minimum security is not bad time. Oh for sure nobody chooses incarceration, but you will come to understand what I mean. Ken and the Miller family are in my prayers. From the apostles, to the Underground Railroad, to the American Civil Rights Movement the righteous have goon to prison. There is a mom and a little girl who thank you as well as the entire Bible believing Church. Keep the faith. Philippians 4: 13.
